Community Health Centres offer a range of health services for pregnant women, including prenatal and postnatal services as well as services and support for the health and development of your baby. Services include;
- Midwife led antenatal care
- Antenatal shared care with a GP
- First home visit to newborns
- Drop-in baby clinics
- Developmental checks
- Immunisation
- Early Days group sessions
- New Parent Groups
- Sleep Groups
- Paediatrics
- Physiotherapy for mother and baby
- Breastfeeding and infant nutrition
- Early parenting counselling
Services are available at locations across the ACT and are free to all Medicare and Asylum Seeker card holders.
