Doulas
Doulas are trained and experienced non-medical caregivers who provide continuous care and support throughout your pregnancy, birth and during the postnatal period. A doula is a person who understands the process of birth both physically and emotionally. The primary role of a doula is to support the woman throughout her birth journey, increasing her confidence and feelings of safety. They can help reduce any feelings of stress or tension and help create a calm and settled environment for the woman, her partner and family.
