Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU)
The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) is a low-risk outpatient service for women experiencing vaginal bleeding and/or lower abdominal discomfort prior to 20 weeks of pregnancy.
This is a referral only service, your GP, the hospital Emergency Department or other healthcare professional will refer you to the EPAU.
